Dance
for people living with
Parkinson's
These dance classes are specifically created with for people living with Parkinson's and their carers in mind. The classes focus on developing strength, balance, flexibility and give the opportunity practice fluidity of movement. All classes will compromise of a warm up, longer dance sequences and the opportunity for free movement and to develop choreography. There is also tea and biscuits. No previous dance experience necessary.
These classes are subsidised by both Woking and Waverley Borough Councils and Parkinson's UK Branches in Guildford and Staines and Sport England National Lottery.

A Beautiful Day
Members of the Woking Dance for Parkinson's Group performing alongside local school St Mary's CoE Primary, Byfleet, Yr 5 dancers. After a term working separately on dances using 'Summertime 2022' as a theme, both groups came together to perform their dance on 4th July 2022.
