Our Regular Projects

Creative Lunch

Creative Lunch is an inclusive, creative space for older adults, people with dementia,  and their carers to meet, chat, create and reminisce.

Using a theme each session the group create a work of visual art or craft, take part in a gentle creative seated dance session and share lunch together. Using a person-centred approach to delivering the classes means that they are suitable for everyone’s needs.

Creative Seated Dance

These movement to music weekly classes are designed to be inclusive and are flexible to tailor to your individual interests and ability.  Classes include exercise and creativity and are suitable for older adults and people with dementia.  Classes generally take place seated and can be taken in a wheel chair but are tailored to each group and allow for individual creative exploration and expression, seated or standing! 

Dance For Parkinson's

These dance classes are specifically created with for people living with Parkinson's and their carers in mind. The classes focus on developing strength, balance, flexibility and give the opportunity practice fluidity of movement. All classes will compromise of a warm up, longer dance sequences, and the opportunity for free movement and  to develop choreography. There is also tea and biscuits.  No previous dance experience necessary.
